Megan & Kevin : Wedding

Megan and Kevin were high school sweethearts who were engaged Christmas morning. They actually found us because Megan's sister was a bridesmaid in Jenny and Steve's wedding years ago- I love it! Megan and Kevin's wedding took place at New Smyrna Beach during bike week. While I was secretly hoping for some bride and groom portraits with a big group of biker guys, it was probably for the best that there were no run-ins. ;)

I love this shot Nathan got of Kevin reading a sweet note from his bride-to-be:

Their sweet first look. :)

You can't tell by looking at Megan, but their wedding was during Florida's unseasonably cold winter. Typically, a March wedding on the beach would be perfect cool weather, but their wedding day was freezing and the wind was out of control. Megan was every bit poised and calm through it all, and never once complained about the temperature. I love our brides. :)

I LOVE how excited Megan was to get married. :)

Probably my favorite wedding moment ever. So, after the ceremony instead of having a petal toss, Megan and Kevin opted to have a beach ball toss! The ushers handed a ball out to each guest that came in. During the ceremony, this flower girl grabbed a beach ball...
... And decided the ring exchange was the perfect time to give one to the bride. :)
Success!
A first for us- Beach ball toss! :)
Pictures were a huge priority for Megan, and she scheduled in plenty of time for 'just married' photos.

My favorite of the day. Megan, you're adorable.
Their first dance was to "Everything," by Lifehouse. And there were bubbles involved.
I love it. :)

Congratulations, Megan and Kevin!!!

Kamil & Mike : Engagement

Kamil and Mike chose New Smyrna for their engagement session location, and we couldn't be happier they did! My favorite thing about this couple is that they asked us to document them doing things they love doing. I can truly say it made such a difference in their session, and I'd love to encourage anyone reading this to think about getting creative with your engagement shoot as well!

The session started with them jumping in a canoe for some shots down the river...
I asked for a smooch, and they were incredibly brave to oblige! ;)
Then we hit the streets for some shots of Kamil on the precious bike that Mike restored for her! (Notice the M&K on the back? I LOVE it!!)

The next two shots are similar, but I still can't pick a favorite!

Then we hit some beach for a bit!

As we were leaving, Nate and I saw this INCREDIBLE location that I can't wait to revisit! Kamil and Mike really made the scene come together, and I just love the feel of this next series:

How cute is Kamil? :)
Kamil and Mike, we're beyond excited for your wedding in the coming months! Until then, maybe we'll see you around the B3!
