Renee & Shane - Engagement

Renee & Shane are getting married this year at Disney! We met with them after their planning meeting with their coordinator, and I'm so excited to see how their day turns out. :)

One of the reasons Renee and Shane fell in love was over their mutual love of the Mets. It was only right that we started their session at the Wide World of Sports!

I'm a huge fan of the clean lines in this shot..
And how cute is this?!Hanging out in the dugout...
Soon after we headed to our 2nd location..
Never can get enough ivy walls!

Two fountain shots because they're my favorite. :)Happy planning, guys, and we'll see you this fall!!!

Liz & Mike - Wedding

Liz and Mike were married last week at Casa Feliz! It was really fun for Nathan and I to shoot there, seeing as it's the location of our what-would-have-been wedding reception. I just love that house... If you're looking for a wedding location 'outside the box,' check it out. I think it's incredibly affordable, and it's right in the heart of Winter Park. Anyway. Enough about the location, on to the wedding!
I loved the colors in the eclectic centerpieces! They had programs hanging from trees as the guests entered the ceremony site..

Pretty house. :)

Showing their true colors! ;)

Being papa-razzied by a guest! :)
We were big fans of the grooms' cake...

One of my favorite cake-cutting shots!
The perfect way to end the night.. :)

Liz & Mike, thank you for letting us share in your day! Best wishes for a wonderful life. :)

Jamie & Jeff - Engagement

Jamie and Jeff asked us to come to Tampa for their engagement shoot, and I'm so happy we did! We started at the University of Tampa, where we played with some yummy light..
I love when couples get this comfortable so quickly!
Can't go wrong with sun flare and a super hot couple! ;)
We always tell clients to let us know during the session if they have any ideas. When we were walking around Ybor City, Jamie insisted on getting a photo of them in a cafe window. I'm SO happy with how it came out!! Nathan snagged this...
While I grabbed a different angle..
My favorite from the session! I was on my tummy to shoot this one, while my handsome husband watched for cars. :)

During the session, I fell in LOVE with the random apartment complexes in Tampa! This one felt so Alice-in-Wonderland to me!

Nathan always gets the 'magic' shots!

Jamie took us to a special spot at the end of the evening, which happened to be where they had their first date. They sat on this concrete wall overlooking the ocean, city, and a wall of rocks, and talked for hours. Yeah... just a *little* bit romantic. ;)
Jamie & Jeff, we're so happy you guys found us!! See you in a year!

Marcy & Mert - Wedding

Marcy and Mert were our 2nd couple to get married at Walt Disney World. Their ceremony was at the Yacht Club gazebo, and reception in none other than Italy. :)

I'm just crazy for these two kids, so I'm gonna get right to the photos:

Ok. So the coolest thing about their wedding, point blank, was the fact that Marcy picked out the same wedding dress as me! It was so fun shooting the most beautiful dress in all of the world, and she fit the dress gorgeously. I'm such a dork, though.. We had like an hour of photos for just the two of them, and I kept finding ways to incorporate "our dress" into conversation any way possible. ;) Anyway, here it is in all its glory...

Marcy and Mert pretty much got ready together until Marcy put on her gown, and then we had a "first look". This made the day SO easy, and we were able to have an hour before the ceremony for pictures, and about 30 minutes afterwards. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE wedding days like this!!!!

Brides-to-be: Don't be afraid to go crazy with color! Your photographer will adore you. ;)

I love the timeless feel of this one:

First look. :)
We were taking pictures on a couch in the Beach Club lobby, when some fans couldn't help but stare.

Their flower girl was Marcy's niece. At the ceremony site, there's this looooooong pathway leading up to the actual aisle. The flower girl ended up using all of her petals before she got to the actual 'aisle'! She tried to rememdy the situation by picking real flower petals out of a bush and dropping them. :)

Marcy's coordinator, Carol, was a DREAM to work with. If only she did non-Disney weddings... We can't wait to work with her again next week, though!

Married!

Tell me that's not a pretty dress. :)

One of my favorites!

Marcy feeding my husband, the monster. :)

Illuminations!!

This was the dramatic ending to their flawless, choreographed first dance.

The stunning couple being toasted.

Pretty cake! We didn't get a piece, though. :(

Karma striking back when the Roots DON'T get a piece of your wedding cake...

Marcy rockin' the dance floor!

Gorgeous!

Marcy & Mert- We love you!! Huck can't wait to meet A.J. :)
