Kate & Robby : Wedding

Ever since their engagement shoot, we were so excited for Kate and Robby's big day. Kate is one of those naturally extra-happy people, so it was no surprise to see her sail through her wedding day with a smile on her face!

I don't link to other vendors nearly as often as I should, but Kate had an exceptional team on her wedding day and I just want to pass along some love to these guys! I'll try to get in this habit more often, so let me know if it's helpful to you!!

Hair & Make-up: Magnolias Salon & Spa
Ceremony Venue: Knowles Chapel
Coordinator: Wonderful Weddings
Reception Venue: Citrus Club
Videographer: CVP
Live Band: 5th Avenue Music
Knowles has become one of our favorite places to shoot!
I tell ya.. Some girls are just made to be brides!

Love this one Nathan grabbed!

Yay!
Nathan's view..
And mine! :)

Kate and Robby were sweet enough to let us bring along an assistant for their wedding day! I have to admit, though, my favorite shots Lorie grabbed were of Nathan and I working! ;)

FAAAAAVORITE! Nathan is amazing and our clients are rockstars. :)

The reception hall was just lovely.
First dance to Michael Buble..
Hello, cake!
LOVE this series!

Bouquet toss! Huzzah!
Really, really ridiculously good-looking couple.

The end. :)
Kate and Robby, we LOVED your wedding!! Let's do it again sometime! ;)

TTD : Preview!

Just a quick preview of the fun Nathan and I had today with Karin and Xavier! It was a light trashing of the dress, and we love Karin for it! Real post to follow in the coming weeks. :)

Roomies : Session :)

Every year when I ask my sister what she wants for her birthday, she always says a photo shoot. Amelia and I are different as night and day, and this is a perfect example! When Nathan points a camera at me, I hide behind my hands. When Amelia sees a camera, she breaks out the poses. ;)

When Amelia joined her sorority, I was so worried about the people she'd meet and trouble she'd get into. I was scared my sweet little sister would morph into Regina from Mean Girls or something! Now I know it was the best thing for her, and I've never seen her happier! I've gotten to meet a few of the girls she's friends with and see that they really do take care of eachother. :) Nathan and I even got to move her in this year, where we had fun re-naming their dining hall to the "scrapbooking room," and one of the living rooms to the "naked pillowfight room." It's just too easy!

SO, for Amelia's birthday shoot this year, we did a shoot with her roommates. :)

Fun fact: The 3rd girl in was actually a guest at Erin & Chris' wedding!
I think Nathan grabbed this one when I was making fun of Amelia for sitting on the ground... How cute is her reaction? :)

The girls doing their magic sorority sign... ;)

1/2 Days Off

One thing Nathan and I have learned this year more than any other is the importance of days off. If we can't have full days off, we take 1/2 days. :) Last week Nathan and Nick hung out at Epcot where Nathan got some crazy artsy amazing shots, as he tends to do... ;)

Favorite!

My biggest fear! Woohoo!
I'm so lucky to have my very best friend live a mile from my house. Lorie is the best for those last minute HELP-I-need-time-away-from-my-husband-and-computer-now-or-I'm-gonna-kill-myself moments. :) I'm so lucky to live and work with the love of my life, but every now and then I just need some lady time! Lorie and I are trying to make weekly trips to the parks. Today we went to MGM, and Nathan convinced me to bring my camera. I'm SO glad I did! I think I'll be blogging our outings every week now. :)

We started the day with a visit to my Mommy who was working.. She was having a bad hair day and since I'm a good daughter, this is the only picture you'll get from that visit:
This is the newest addition to my Christmas list! It's the creepiest thing ever and I need it for my desk. It's a thing you stick photos in, and on one side is the Wicked Queen, the other side is Snow White. For me, it was love at blood shot princess eyes! And yes, that's blood dripping down her dress. ;)
We had lunch at the Sci-Fi diner, where you eat in cars like you're in a drive-in. :)

My favorite from the day- A picture of the camera that takes your picture at the top of the Tower of Terror!
The view from the top. :)
Then we had fun with celebrities..
Lorie couldn't contain herself around Barbara Walters. ;) This is pretty much my favorite picture ever.
The end. :)

Jamie & Jason : Engagement

Soooooo again, I've been a horrid blogger. I could have sworn I last updated just a few days ago, but Nathan informed me that it's been a week and a half. I feel like I've lost all sense of time. Every morning I wake up and my body thinks it's a random Tuesday in June. This is so lame of me to admit, but since I work at home, the only way I know what days are what are by weddings and my t.v. shows. SAD, right? Well, my shows are on summer hiatus and I haven't been able to squeeze in my General Hospital fix (oh please, don't we all have dirty little secrets?) ;) On top of that, the most recent wedding we had was on a Thursday, so my body clock is waaaaay off. I can't believe it's September!

Annnnnyway, I'm about to go to bed, but I just wanted to do a quick post on an engagement shoot we did this summer. Jamie and Jason were total troopers in the heat and somehow managed to stay close to eachother and kiss!

We started out at one of our favorite locations, Casa Feliz.
Trees like this make me happy to live in Florida!

Love it. :)
Favorite!

We were able to squeeze in the child for some shots!

Next favorite. :)

Yay! Jamie and Jason, happy planning! We'll see you soon! :)
