Vacation with the Roots : Part 2

Day 2 was California Adventure day! :) I love how decked out the parks are for Halloween!

Only at Disney.. Nathan and I were walking down the street when this little girl in front of us shouts, "GOOFY! Can I walk with you?" Goofy grabbed her hand and they walked down the street. :)

By far the best thing about Disneyland is their attention to detail. I love some of the entrances to rides there, like this Monsters, Inc one:

Vacation with the Roots : Part 1

So, I know I'm already a little behind, but I'll try to keep up here on out! Nathan and I got to Disneyland and have been going ever since. :)

We were SO excited to finally be here!

Our hotel is gorgeous.. The Grand Californian is definately the way to go!

We headed to Downtown Disney right away, and wandered in the Disneyland Hotel..

Bed jumping... A favorite pasttime of ours whenever we get to a new hotel. :)

I've discovered the real source of some of my greatest fears..

My newest obsession: The Haunted Mansion. They completely made it over to be Nightmare Before Christmas themed, and I'm obsessed!!!!! For example, this is where there's normally a man, his dog, and a lamp..

Out of the Office!

Nathan and I are on our way to make Dumbos spin and Teacups fly! :) It's our first official vacation, and we'll be out of the office until Friday, October 3rd. We'll do our best to check our email while we're away, but please be patient as we try to respond in a timely manner. :)

Favorite Shooting Day Ever Ever EVER : Preview

I know I often get a little excited about our work, but today was freakin' amazing. We had two extraordinary couples who were up for anything and inspired us to push our boundaries more than ever. Justin & Lu are our newest muses and friends... I'll try to keep myself from counting the minutes until we see them in NYC this December!

Bean & Rob are a ridiculously good looking couple who made me insanely jealous of their wedding photographer! They're here on their honeymoon and we met up for a fabulous session..
Jennifer, I meant it when I said you can't claim to be un-photogenic anymore! I have proof now!


I've never had so much fun working- the four of you rock my face off. Nathan took incredible pictures, and I, for once, didn't feel far behind. I've never been so excited about our business, life, and my family as I am today, and for that.. I'm blessed. :)

Sara-Jayne & Gavin : Just Married!

Just Married! sessions have become a favorite of ours. It's not quite trashing the dress, but more of a 'sitting on grass and being ok with it' sort of shoot. Sara-Jayne and Gavin were up for it, so we took them around our home, Celebration. :)
